How I Think About Waiters by Dad Schneider

If they don't give you what you ordered.
They may not come back to see what you want often
enough or come back too often.
Because that would have to do with how much
you tip them.
The only time I waited on tables was at the
fraternity house.
We had just one type of meal
so we just brought it to everybody.
They didn't have to order.
I don't remember if we had cooks to prepare the meal
or if the House Mother prepared the meal.
We had a House Mother.
I don't think we have those any more.
I've never heard of them. I miss the good o' days.
I try not to hate anything. Especially people. Even people that do
horrible, murderous things,
he has mental troubles and can't help himself.
If someone hurt my family member, I would have to defend myself.
I might have to shoot him.
